On his birthday, Fang Yuan, a tour guide without any passion for life, meets a girl who happens to have the same birthday as well. She is a strange person, however, as she claims to be a robot from the future. After spending the day together, they lose contact with each other until they meet again a year later. She forces herself into his life and he begins to see that he is no ordinary girl as they get to know each other more, though he is unsure whether this a blessing or a curse for him.
