Waning Moon

In a remote village, Nuan Chan is the holy medium who must follow strict rules and remain celibate in order to perform her spiritual medium duties. She is training her reluctant teenage niece Ploy to be a medium as well, and kept stressing that Ploy`s virginity must be preserved. However, Ploy longs to break free of the shackles. She wants to be with her friend Bua and to be with Toon, who has returned to the village from the city. Their relationship threatens to challenge the waning moon ceremony whereupon Ploy can experience the secrets of the holy medium. But it has unleashed the wicked Nuan Chan from the after-life who wants their youth, and their lives.
